Ministry to Migrants remains the Missionary Priority of the Vice Province.
The V. Provincial Statutes state: "While still a Region, the V. Province of Majella went through a process of discernment during three years (2005-2008) before choosing to focus on migrants as the foremost category of poor for their preferential response... This preferential option by the Vice- Province of Majella in favour of the poor migrants is our way of fidelity to our vocation (C. 5). Migrant Ministry was voted upon as the primary Missionary Priority of the V. Province at the V. Provincial Chapter of 2018. However, with the growth of the Vice Province and support of the communities they serve, many other apostolates have gained in popularity, including: preaching of the good news, especially to the abandoned through parish missions, retreats, catechetical programs, youth ministry, ministry to married couples, religious and priests. The Vice Province is also actively involved in working for greater participation of the laity in the Church.
